Allium - Purple Rain

Purple Rain is a relatively new hybrid of Allium Purple Sensation and Allium Christophii. The sparkling flower heads have the purple-violet colour of ‘Purple Sensation’ with the open form of Christophii - an attractive combination of popular and reliable parents. It attracts bees and butterflies and then forms an attractive seed-head often used in dried flower arrangements.
